The sweetest kind of lemonade.

Today has been pretty stinking awesome. Well, it didn't start out that way, but even so, I'm tickled pink! After THREE trips to the Personal Property Office (we're military, so I've got to work with that office each time it's time for us to move) this morning, I finally secured our move date for this summer. YAY! Between a missing signature, and a simple miscommunication, I ended up making the trip too many times this morning. Even so, right now it doesn't matter because it's done!

Then this afternoon I logged onto RunDisney to print off my race waiver and instructions and found out that I'm in corral B! I am SO excited! Each day that we get closer to the race, I feel my confidence growing. And to see that the RunDisney folks looked at my 10K pace and think that I will finish in 2.5 hours or less? Well that just made my day...even if it's been my goal all along!

Today could have taken a really different route. I could have gotten really irritated that I had to schlep all over town to get our move paperwork complete. I could have been really overwhelmed that we're gearing up to leave for vacation in two days, and my little guy is rocking a fever. But I didn't, and I'm not. I ate my "on-the-go" breakfast (a Luna bar and bottle of water for the car) and then tackled the day. I lucked out and got T an appointment with the doctor in the morning to rule out an ear infection, so I'm less anxious about that.

I'm excited, and happy, and so thankful today. Even though everyday doesn't work out like today, I know enough to be grateful for the way things turned out this afternoon.
