If you read the Spark Community Guidelines when you first joined Spark then you know that the first one is RESPECT. If you have not read them you will find the link below.
You may follow a certain diet plan or "lifestyle" that has worked well for "you" and that is wonderful. But it does not mean that it will work for or "fit" everyone.
You may have read that amazing "diet" book and every book the author wrote thereafter.
You may subscribe to the website, the Facebook page and the email newsletters. You may have read everything written on the subject.
But those things do not make you an expert. They do not give you the credentials or the authority to tell people that the only way is the way you chose. It only makes you a person who bought the book, followed the plan and had success. Which is great for YOU!
The majority of us are regular, average human beings looking to loose weight, be healthier and more active. We are not looking to dedicate our lives to eating seeds & root vegetables, climbing mountains, running marathons or pushing ourselves to the limits.
We want to look good in our bathing suits, get into that wedding dress and fit into the airplane seat.
We have lives, families, friends, jobs, problems and stresses. We strive each day to be a little better than yesterday. We choose what we want to eat and not eat. It may not be your choice but it is the best choice for us.
We are here on Spark because it gives us choices and options. It is supportive and not critical. This is how we like it and this is why we stay.
So please have respect for us and our lifestyle choices just as we have respect for yours.
