Made it happen

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

I got my grove on and did my 50 flights of stairs. It took me a little longer than I thought but I didnt give up and I reached my goal. I feel proud! I feel happy and the energy I feel is wonderful. Then I rewarded myself by lighting a candle, mentally evaluating my progress, tuning in to the feeling of gratefulness and drinking water. I am of the opinion that if you can focus after a workout on all the good things and the feeling you get placing it in your memory is critical. For me if you forget these things one you dont learn to enjoy working out it feels like a chore, two I find I am not as consistant.

Another goal met is that I have already met my water intake. I am happy!!!! My food goal tonight is to have a bowl of strawberries instead of crackers or bread for an evening snack!

I want to encourage everyone that it is possible to enjoy a workout. It is possible to reach a goal. And it is possible to love yourself.

Very inspiring! Focusing after a workout is very good - like consolidating your efforts after a yoga routine with a minute or two of meditation. I haven't quite gotten to workouts yet - but reading everyone's blogs is inspiring me in that direction!
