Short timers syndrome

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Apparently people don't take me seriously that I've developed short timers syndrome and don't give a damn as of last week and my boss' bs about my husband's health issue maybe not counting as FMLA. 0.o

Hell DW even seems to think I care about the difference in budget between recycling envelopes vs buying them... threw a fit about how she used to have a business and those 100 ct boxes of envelopes costing $30 and how i need to pull them out of files after they close to save the office money... 1) if a box of envelopes (that size and count) costs you 30 dollars... find a new place to shop, really 2) if my boss is trying to be able to fire me because my family is more important to me than a week of stress with pay (aka work), I don't care about that person not saving money. Out of a stack of 10 files we can only pull an average of 3 to recycle anyway. Not a big savings for the time and effort of getting it from under a couple hundred pages and off the bendy posts.

Sorry people, when it comes to work "my give a damn's busted" right now but my "screw you" works fine. Try your luck another day and we'll see if I managed to get to fixing my give a damn. Outlook for that is grim but eh, you can try.

emoticon You are having such a bad day at work I know the stress of family, work and health issues can really add up. It is also hard when the boss is not even on the same page as you are on family health issues. I will pray that you can make the right choices for you and your family.
