I am back in Arizona, I left Oregon on Tuesday as the pass was clear, and I arrived Thursday afternoon. I had clear roads, zero ice or snow, and traffic was awesome (except for that one white truck that has no clue on how to change lanes while driving 75 mph just north of Los Angeles) especially all the truck drivers, so polite! I had the same problem with sleeping, this time I used Uhaul and the truck was great, but the cab was smaller. Jake and Annie didn't have much room, matter of fact Jake fell off his seat while sleeping several times! I ended up taking several small breaks and managed to actually sleep 4 times, twice for 10 minutes and twice for 30 minutes, still not sure how I managed this!!
I started calling the utilities when I crossed into AZ and learned that I would have to be home for them to be turned on, thank goodness for that!! I arrive home, they say in 2 to 4 hours it will be on. Good, go to neighbors for dinner, she is an awesome cook!! Arrive back home after dark with no power, call them up and they try to trouble shoot the issue and they can't, out comes a tech. Tech gets it going and I have a open pipe, so off goes the water (I am on a well). I thought a friend was going to fix the water, my mistake as I misunderstood them, so I didn't get water for 3 days. Can't turn gas on without the water (gas water heater) so no gas till yesterday. WooH! So I started cleaning the house and heated my water in the microwave! Yeah to my neighbor, she fed me dinner every night and let me shower and use her washer and dryer!!
I took the dogs to their Vet on Monday and guess what? Yeah they are healthy, but they are also fat! Vet asked about diet changes and I finally told him that I knew what the problem was, yes he laughed with me, and told him that the 3 of us were going to begin our exercises again.
Odd thing about the dogs is that they forgot how to use the doggy door.

The other thing that they managed to forget was how to get into the neighbors yard, yes we are both happy about that one!!
I started some of my batch cooking last night, this is needed as I ran out of chicken a couple of days ago. Made up several containers of chicken stock and four packages of boiled chicken.
First day of work is tomorrow night, I think I am going to continue with just cleaning around the house (it needs it) for the first week and start to incorporate cardio in next week.
I am off to post my weight loss, it looks like a big number, but it is just a reflection of moving from OR to AZ, lack of sleep, limited food and house cleaning!
Before I forget, here are my new measurements (last measurements taken on 08/04/12)
Waist was 32 now 38
Hips was 40 now 42
Thigh was 22 now 24.5
Arm was 12 now 13
As you can tell I kept up with upper body ST, now to bring back lower body ST and some cardio! Feeling motivated!
P.S. Hated all the types of mold in Oregon with a passion!!
