Need some motivation..

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

I'm not doing bad or anything, but, I just don't feel very motivated or excited. I know its the after effects of my vacation being over. I was already preparing myself for it.. I need something to look forward to... I think I'm going to try to plan some sort of trip for the future. Maybe a little family trip. I hate being in these funks... I need to snap out of it already!

Just one of those days.... emoticon

Why not sign up for a race as a new motivator? I just committed to running the Chicago Half Marathon...nothing like a crazy (but attainable) goal to jump start your routine! emoticon emoticon

We all get those days... some more often than others... On days like that, read something positive. Read some success stories, read inspiring quotes, just take a walk outside and breath. Sometimes when we are down, if we can just p ick ourselves up for a minute to take a walk, our body will naturally produce the happy juice and make you feel better. :)

I understand! I've been fighting that as well...not being very successful, either. It helps to tell people what's going on...that helped me...and also working out. Things were better since I walked on Sat, did some elliptical on Monday...Tuesday I was noticing how much better I felt this week compared to last week. So, even if you're not feeling the motivation, try to get out and move. You'll feel better. And now that you told us, you have some accountability buddies too. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
