I made it to my first goal milestone! I wanted to at least make it to my pre-pregnancy weight from last winter when I became pregnant with my son. Yay! I feel so good about it. I just watched what and when I ate a little more, knowing I totally eat and snack and drink in the afternoons when I'm bored or stressed from the kids napping (or NOT napping, lol). I also just knew my habit of drinking high sugar stuff was a huge culprit. I've got a wellness coach through my insurance company right now which is keeping me accountable. Also I've discovered I really love V8 100% Vegetable Juice. Such a good, cold, salty way to sneak in 2 servings of veggies. Breastfeeding is helping a lot I'm sure but with the weather so snowy and cold and the kids so needy right now I haven't been to the gym as much. I bet with the weather warming up in the next month I'll be able to get more active and if I can get better at tracking those calories I'll be able to get to my next goal weight: my pre-pregnancy weight from my daughters birth!
