This little fruit is so packed with nutrition... I first heard this on Dr. Oz and decided to take a look myself and I am really surprised at the nutritional value of these lime green, sweet balls of deliciousness! Corny huh???? lol!

Here is the link:
This werbsite provides all the good and bad qualities of foods. The nutrient content is so complete... was amazed! Each food is rated on the Nutrient Density and the Fullness Factor, the Glycemic Load, the Inflammation factor... and so much more.
If you don't really know what each is, there is a little "? what is this" in each block of information and it gives you the details of what you are looking at.

The Nutrition Information block, if you scroll down a little gives you the Calorie info, Protein & Amino Acid info, Carbohydrate info... each unit is so complete, never seen anything like this before. You can expand each item and get an even more defining look at the food in question. it is rated on the Amino Acid Score, the Nutrient Completeness Score... and these little furry brown balls pack quite a punch! I think I am going to try peeling and freezing a few and adding them to my green smoothies in the morning. They are loaded with calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamins C & K, AND they are a great source of Omega 6's... who knew! emoticon
