Update on my knee and general body issues...
I am going to go for an X-ray some time this week and hope that there's nothing seriously wrong with my knee and they tell me to just keep taking the Glucosamine supplements I started on last week. That is best case senario of course so I'm cautiosly optimistic as usual. I also have a full physical scheduled for early next month so if one or many things is really wrong, that'll be how I find out. I'm 24 so I should be fine right? ...don't answer that.
I ran a mile today at the gym even though I know I shouldn't. I don't think a mile a day is goin to kill me and I have to do something running related or I'm going to have to walk for part of my races and that just won't do. I've been going to the gym as religiously as usual just not running at all and I've been doing some non-weighted lunges and squats at home in front of the tv to try and strengthen these stupid weak knee muscles.
Here's to getting SLOWLY back in the game and hoping the placebo effect of the Glucosamine start to take effect real soon.
