So I did my first ever spin class! It was pretty good and fun. I was worried that everyone that signed up for the sunny 95 blues workshop for free classes would be inshape and i would be the only one that wasnt. It turns out noone that came there was really in shape. So it was kind of nice to see that i wasnt against people that i wasnt able to compete against. However my butt hurts a bit from that seat on the bike. I saw in tv shows that it was pain full but those are actors and i thought they were just being funny but it turns out it really is that bad! lol We also did 30 mins of body pump just an intro to it so nothing major. we just used a bar and not any weights so we could just get the form down. I worked really hard to be keep going but the last 3 mins of the class i had to quit. I felt dizzy and very nauseous. both instructors were at the body pump class and the guy helped me with my form a lot of the time and then when i sat down he came and talked to me and i told him that i was getting very fatigued and he told me that it was fine to rest a minute or so and i told him that i never worked out for an hour before. I only work out for 20-30 mins and thats just me training for my 5K and that i feel bad that i had to sit down. he told me that out of everyone that he saw today in both classes i was the only one that didnt stop pedaling on the spin bike and the only one that kept doing the lunges and sqauts and arm exercising. everyone else did a couple of each and stopped and watched the other people doing it. He told me that i was doing really well and in the next couple of weeks i will be able to do it for the whole time. That made me feel better. Over all I had a good time and it was fun and it was as good as i was pictureing and not as bad as i thought either. I'm ready to go back and do it again!
