This post is not for me. At least, not for me, now. As I blogged earlier today, I was up 4 pounds this week according to the scale, and that's OK. But it wasn't always OK for me. Once upon a time, when I was just starting out on this "journey", a gain would send me spiraling.
This reminder is for that person. The one I used to be. Perhaps, a person a lot like you.
It bears repeating, over and over and over, because in the beginning, we often focus entirely too much on the number. So, listen again -
YOU ARE NOT YOUR WEIGHT
You're worth so much more.
So take a deep breath. Smile. It's just a number.
