Week 8 - Working on my running time

What is your weight today? 149.6lbs
Did you lose, gain, or maintain? Why? Gained 0.8lbs. All I can say is that itís TOM. Honestly, I expected the scale to be up even more. So I must have done something right.
What have you done well? I was more aware of my snacking.
What could you have done better? I need to go back to really focusing on increasing my protein and limiting my carbs to 150g.
What changes will you make so that you can be more successful during the rest of this round? I will go back to limiting my carbs to no more than 150g per day. This will force me to think about what Iím reaching for. Instead of the easy carb snacks, I will have to focus on protein and veggies.
Iím continuing to increase the intensity of my workout. Iím purposefully pushing myself on the treadmill by running. I warm up for 5 minutes (and Iím even pushing it with the incline), then I start to run. Usually I ďwarmed upĒ for 10 minutes. This week Iím going to start setting my goal as miles instead of time. So for now, Iím going to set it for a 5k (3.1 miles). Iím completing that in under 35 minutes. So next Iím going to start upping that to 4 miles. Iím not sure what I want my finish time to be maybe 40 minutes.
