Home from the hospital!

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

So I went into the hospital Sunday morning and got out tuesday afternoon. I'm still really weak and actually more worn out then when I went in. I went in with stomach problems. I wasn't able to hold even water down. I had some tests done and nothing major was wrong and now after a couple of days of ice chips and medicine to coat my stomach I'm able to keep some food down! Not the way to start the week! My wonderful hubby spent the days and nights with me and he';s just as worn out from not sleeping well! I was surrounded by christian nurses and I was blessed with nice docs and specialists! God blesses even in the midst of a storm! Anyways, I probably won't be tracking until I feel better. But I'll keep you updated when I start back! I'll check messages and all but won't really be so active until I feel better! I welcome prayers. God bless and happy sparking!!

So glad to hear you are home. Eat lightly for a few days. Oatmeal, tapico pudding, flat Seven-Up....but I am sure you know these things already. Stomach problems are no fun. Happy that you have a supportive Hubby. It is amazing how much better we begin to feel once our weight starts to decease. I personally rely on chewable Papaya Enzyme tablets sometimes even seeking out the fruit itself as I have had great relief from stomach upset using it. My last resort is of course Liquid Acidophilis when all esle fails. The Acidophilis tastes very bad so I wash it down with a mild fruit juice (the less acid the better) or almond milk product. I don't know if your body would be helped by my solutions, every body is different. I have had to learn to KNOW my body very well. And I still mess up a whole lot. LOL!

Oh my dear sweetie, I'm so sorry that you had to get so sick. It sounds like you're on the mend now, so that's a glorious thing! Maybe it was just a flu bug, which isn't any fun at all, but it could be an answer maybe. I hope you get better and better now that you're all back home with your husband! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Wonder what was the cause of your issue? Can the docs tell you nothing so that you may avoid a repeat?
