Wasn't sure how I was going to feel about getting back on the treadmill this morning, especially how my body would feel about getting back on the treadmill this morning but I laid out my workout clothes before bed and got into them immediately upon waking this morning in the hopes that I could actually stick with this for more than one day.
I made sure to have water and a towel this morning (good things to remember LOL) and started off leisurely enough but managed to push it a bit farther today. I went with 60s jog/90s walk intervals. Started at 4.7mph jog and 3.5 walk for the first two intervals, dropped down to 4.5/3.3 for the next four, and then pushed it up to 5.0/3.3 for the final two but that brought to me 20min of intervals and then I made sure to warm-up and cool down. Need to do some stretching and then hit the showers and get on with my day. Going to try and do yoga before bed tonight since I ran out of time this morning. Heehee.."ran" out of time. Yeah, I crack myself up sometimes.
Food yesterday, not so good. Was running around a bit too much without healthy snacks at my disposal so ended up having a bit too much junk food at other times. Not surprising also considering I just started working out again so I was hungry and not able to push it off as easily. This will pass and I just need to keep working on it. I did stock up on healthier trail mixes and lots of fruit and veg and such to try and make it easier in the future and cleaned out my fridge to make it easier to find things.
Just taking it one day at a time.
