Feeling a little more like myself

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

After last week I was just not very sociable, and I needed time out!
I took a few days to sleep in, have breakfast in bed with DH, read a book, ( a period Romance) and then just recuperate! Family time and rest did me and the family the world of good, and it was like a longer than long weekend for us, we had Friday off because it was a PA day and DH took the day off because of his dad's memorial service, then I had music practice and then cleaned ( my job) and then essentially took the rest of the weekend OFF!

Monday was Family Day here in Canada so that involved the kids skating on the Lake and me freezing my fingers off lacing them up...the cousins came over and we had a lovely time.

By tuesday, which felt like a Monday I was almost ready to start the week...but I still did not feel like being online much, just did a bit of laundry, read another book, signed the kids up for piano lessons, took books back to the library and made a crockpot full of soup! So nothing stressful!

Today however I am up and rearing to go!
3 loads of laundry done, I made oatmeal porridge ( RUSSIAN STYLE) because I am missing Russia, I was there THIS TIME LAST YEAR!~ and I got a ride to the grocery store to get toilet rolls, cleaned up the kitchen after kids and DH left and have started working on the next 30 Day Challenge stuff.

If you are interested we start March 1st and I need you to email me and let me know you are IN
or you can sparkmail me!

Here is the link to the FIRST BLOG in preparation for the challenge, so all those who have signed up so far, you GOTTA READ THIS!
