That's right, I just couldn't wait until March 1st to weigh in. After yesterday with what happened to me with a classmate (she had approached me and asked if we wanted to study together because 'us fat chicks gotta stick together') I realized that yes, I may be overweight, but at least I'm doing something about it. I cut out the soda and I drink more water, and I'm trying to eat right, and I'm researching and working out.
So, to prove to myself that I am actually doing something, I decided to make my weigh in days every Wednesday. I just couldn't wait, because every time I logged onto SparkPeople, it would say 'weight lost: 0' and that's just not motivational to me. I needed a number on it. So when I woke up this morning, I broke out that scale and weighed myself....
I lost 6.6 pounds since 2.9.13!!
I know, I know... it's probably all the water weigh and whatnot that I was retaining, but THAT'S OKAY. I have to start somewhere, and now I can work on getting rid of the fat that consumes me. Today I will be busting a groove to a Tae-Bo video. Rock on!
