Thank you all for all the support and prayers. I really do appreciate them. I am sorry that I haven't been in touch. I just haven't been doing very well with this hand of mine.

I have been having a hard time with my hand. It has been really painful. The pain med's aren't doing a good job either. I had to go and see the surgeon yesterday to have the stitches taken out and to have some Xray's done to make sure that everything looked good, it did. When the dressing was taken off the area were the wound is was pretty red. He put me on some antibiotics for 10 days, and also put my hand and forearm in a cast. I have to go back next week for him to look at it again. They will remove the cast and see how it is doing. I guess that is if it is doing good I will have another cast put on for a total of 3 weeks. I did not know that I would of had to wear a cast. I thought that I was going to be put into a brace that I could take off and then put back on, after I had showered. That was a wrong thought. It is important that I don't move it around a lot. After the 3 weeks I have to start going to physical therapy to begin exercises. What a long haul.

We had to have our radiator changed in our car on Saturday. It had been leaking for a long while and we just kept on putting in antifreeze. It wasn't a huge hole. Our mechanic lives just 2 doors down from us. He is all set up with a garage and car lift, but he isn't an Inspection station. He does really good work, and is so close to us. His prices aren't too bad either.


We also got some snow on the weekend too. I think we got about 3 inches. Our plow guy just did a quick pass just in case we needed to go someplace. Last night it started out with freezing rain and then it turned to all rain and then this morning it started snowing. I don't think that we are going to get any big amounts though. This weather is so crazy. I can't wait for Spring to come here.
