I had a gain

So I had a gain of 2 pounds this week and you know what? I'm not freaking out over it.... I know exactly where it came from I know exactly what happened and I know exactly what to do to fix it. So I'm not stressed, I'm not angry, I'm not upset or crying or wondering why me?

I'm okay with this - I can fix it and I can do better and I will.

This morning I got up and got my breakfast ready to take to work - egg white english muffin w/mustard & cheese. Made sure my lunch (leftovers from dinner last night) was all packed and grabbed an apple & yogurt for snacks.

I've got chicken defrosting for dinner tonight - although I'm not sure what I'm doing with it - has to be quick though as I have church tonight.

All in all - I have a pretty solid plan laid out and it can only go up from here :)

    Stressing only compounds the problem. Every day is another day to get it right. Make sure your portions are correct and remember all calories are not the same. Make a few slight adjustments and yo will be back on track.

Chia seeds are also called Salda.
They have more antioxidents than Blue berries/oranges
They have more dietary fiber than Flaxseed and oates.
They have more iron than spinach.
They have more omega3 acids than salmon.
They have more magnesium than broccoli.
They have more calcium than milk.
They are a great source of protein.
It forms a gel in the intestine/stomach. The body thinks it is full,thus supressing the appetite.
It cleans out your system.
Can be used in muffins,meatloaf,pudding,salad dressing,baked salmon cakes with chia seeds, quinoa,wild rice,and veggies.
If you look in the daily spark ,you will find all the information you need. If you juice,that is another great way to use chia seeds.Go get you some.

    @Edenzmom - I found something - it's a spark recipe I made last year - brown sugar chicken - so yummy and crazy easy to make.

4 tsp brown sugar (unpacked)
12 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp butter
1 dash black pepper

melt the butter in a frying pan
brown garlic in butter
add chick and to garlic & butter and cook thoroughly, adding pepper as you like it
when chicken is fully cooked add brown sugar to top of each breast
allow brown sugar to melt into the chicken (approx. 5 minutes)

I'm having it with brown rice and sauteed peppers & onions
