Appreciate the Good! Forget the Perfect!

I finally saw the scale go below the 'seesaw' level at which I'd been stuck. I'm five pounds (or more) above the weight I wanted for Vacation Location, but that's life. I'm not going to wait until I'm imaginary-perfect to be happy and have fun.
Perfectionism is a guarantee for misery. Embrace the Good! The Perfect is static and leaves no room for action--what would I do if I were Perfect? Nothing!
I'm remembering Mr. Rogers. I like YOU just the way you are, and it's time to like ME just the way I am.
