This morning I have cleaned out my e-mail and realized what a time waster getting so many e-mails is. I unsubscribed to many of the newsletter kind of things that I have been getting for a while. It's kind of like the things that I collect that clutter my house, my desk and my life. It's time to get rid of the junk, and appreciate what I have! More is not better in this case!
Yesterday was a really busy day at work for me, jam packed with meetings. 9-12, 1-2:30. You would think that I would relax during my break from 12-1 right? NOPE, I got outside in the sunshine (and cold) and went for a nice long walk with my weight watchers buddy. We got almost 3 miles in, walked a slightly different route than normal, but it was exhilarating! I felt great for the rest of the day. Everyone should try it if they don't get out and walk during lunch!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ 15 flights of stairs
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ weigh and measure food today
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
