So, we had our ski-trip this year.
While daughter was happy in her skiing-lessons-Group (well, more or less, she was the youngest and 4 year older boys are a but upset if a small girl is better then they are), my husband did some snowboarding and snow-shoe-hiking, I did some skiing after 10 years.
It is a sport I'm pretty good in. I even did some races in my youth. So after my knee surgery I missed it a lot.
But it was not that easy. Technically I was fine. But I had some fear. And my knee hurt a bit. So I only did half days. And made some hiking instead.
So I burned between 400 and 1800 cal per day. But no changes on the scale.
Now everyone (except me) is ill. Coughing, running nose, feeling tired.
And my knee hurts. Perhaps it was a bit too much I did.
