Surprises and gratitude

Tuesday, February 19, 2013

I just can't get over this bug that has now hung on for five weeks. Despite nut much energy I did I did manage a short workout. I am grateful for being able to do even this much. Dh had a deer run in front of him. He managed to get over far enough to avoid it, but the deer got scared or confused or something and turned around and ran directly into the front of the car. Deer seemed ok and trotted off, thankfully. Dh will need to have his little car repaired. But, thankfully, he is also o,.k. So, yesterday I wondered what surprises might come this week. Now, I think I'd be pleased to find a comfortable rut of health and good workouts.

Thank goodness it was only a glancing blow. I hope the car and the deer get better soon.

When I lived up north (Illinois and I now live in Florida), if I got sick in the winter, it took weeks to feel better. I don't know if it was the extreme cold weather, but it took me a long time. I hope that slowly you continue to improve. AND I am SO happy no one got hurt with the deer incident. emoticon Love, Chelsea

Deer encounters are all too common. I'm glad it didn't result in a major wreck.

I always think about the deer when we are driving at night. Glad things weren't any worse than some repairs to the car. Hope you feel better soon!
