Start DDP Yoga

So the past two months have been rather difficult for me. Gained back half of the weight I have been keeping off for the past 2 years but something is going on with my Lymphdema in my legs and they are up almost an 1 and a half inchs in a little over a month which means I have an 1 and a half of fluid on my legs and feet which in turns jacks my weight up. But I'm not letting the gain get me down.

My husband saw an insperational video and shared it with me. That video really got me going and my husband and I both decided to do the program that had helped the guy. It is DDP Yoga and you can find it here http://www.store.ddpyoga.com/ .

Both my husband and I was a little weary getting the program and all but I did some research and read some pretty good things about it and decided to get it since we had some extra money out of our taxes. I bought the combo pack on Friday and to my surprise it got here today in the mail. Now normally for me I would start a new program on a Mondy but I was so excited I just hopped right in today and do the first video called the Diamond Dozen, I will be following the beginners 13 week program in the book that came with the system. I kid you not in 30 minutes I burned 400 cal. I know this is right because I had my heart rate moniter on. I got done and I was sweating up a storm and felt great. I look forward to doing it agian tomorrow. My husband came home and went in and done the same thing and Burned 285 cal in 30 minutes. I'm so happy I got this program and will probally continue to update my progress on my blog if I feel up to bloging.


For the first time in a very long time I enjoyed doing my work out today and this says alot in my book.

So here is to my first DDP Yoga week and I hope that I'm able to stick with it and continue towards my goal to get to 325 by 7/30/12

    Way to go! So happy you found something you enjoy doing and are not letting the weight gain get you down. I hope you have the energy to keep blogging and letting us know how things are going for you!
