I'm getting off the train this time, baby

I'm still kicking around here, staying on track, mostly. You know, thats a funny thing, staying on track. Do we want to live these narrow, choo-choo train kind of lives? I'm not sure I do.

Everytime a person is on a diet, we hear this phrase..."staying on track." But life is so much more diverse and exciting than that. We shouldn't just limit ourselves to this one little track, eating this, exersise that... life is an ADVENTURE, to be taken on day at a time, exploring new things, trying new foods, living it up!

My self challenge this week -

quit staying on track! Explore this fancy world and thing we're living in called life. Try something exciting and new. We're often only reminded we only get one, or that we even have one when we lose someone close to us. Let's all step back beyond being motivated by unforseen or negative circumstances, and just explore life for the sake of exploring it, celebrate for the heck of it, and just get out and off that darn choo-choo path and meander around the course a bit.

Get beyond the scale, and celebrate one, non-scale, non-body image victory at a time. Passed on those m&m's in the breakroom, eventhough they're your absolute favorite? HECK YES! That is cause for a party! Tried on a pair of pants at the store in a color or style you normally wouldn't try, and they looked absolutely ridculous? WHOO HOO! You made it outside of the box! Walked that extra flight up stairs up to the classroom to pick up the kiddos today instead of meeting them at the car? OH YEAH! You're working it now people! How about, picked up a fruit at the grocer that you'd never seen nor heard before, tried it, and hated it? LOOK AT YOU, EXPLORING NEW THINGS! YOU'RE LIVIN!

    I like my track as long as in is the healthy one. My track has been exciting. I guess you would have to of been traveling the track and going through the same territory for a while to get tried of it. I just started and the things are new to me. So, I guess I will have to read this and take action on it a little later down the line. (LOL)
