"Food is fuel. Get the best fuel you can."
These words are so true.
I can't guarantee that I (or you) always *feel* more healthy or energetic after eating an apple instead of a candy bar. But honestly, it's not about how I *feel* all the time. If I made life's greatest choices by relying solely on how I feel, I'd be in a heap of trouble.
It's about facts. If I fill my vehicle with sub-par fuel, I get poor results and I'll probably be stranded somewhere. The same is true with my body. Eventually the type of fuel I use will catch up with me, both for good or for bad.
I wrote a blog a couple days ago about those two powerful words "Just Begin". I promised to update you on all the places in my life where these two words pushed me, in both good ways and bad. That blog is yet to come.
But for now, I'll just say that when I'm choosing the food-fuel for my body, I need to "Just Begin". One new recipe, one healthy snack to replace my old one...Every choice counts.
