Today on Spark Coach my challenge was to do mindful and intuitive eating, so I am not going to eat by the clock. I am going to wait until I am starting to think about eating because my body is starting to get hungry. I am not going to wait until I am light headed and my tummy feels like it is touching my back bone. On a scale of one to 10 I am going to eat when I hit a 5. I will eat until I am satisfied and not uncomfortable and stuffed.
I am retired and don't live my day by the clock. I can eat at what ever time I want. I am not going to eat lunch at 12:00 just because I have been doing this for years. I am going to do the things I like to do during the day and when my tummy starts to rubble, like I know it will I have heard it before, I will eat then.
My Hubby is retired too and he eats when he is hungry. Some times I have been known to push him to eat because it is 12:00 or 6:00 and these are meal times. Today I am not pushing anyone to eat at a certain time. When he is hungry I know he will ask me to cook some thing for him and I have this planned and I have my meals and snacks planned too.
Having a plan will help me to do this day, and who knows I may like this and do this every day.
