Bringing Living Water To Those Who Thirst

Tuesday, February 19, 2013

I took a little time off yesterday to spend the day with my hubby. We went to Nashville to Bass Pro and the Opry Mills Mall. It was a time for us to just get away and spend a little time together, not that we don't spend time together as we do 24/7 since we are both retired. But there's just something about getting off the mountain and enjoying a meal out and a little time to shop. During the day I received six messages, emails or phone calls regarding ministry obligations! What a busy day! So, today I have spent some quality time with the Lord for myself, hence, no blog or teaching devotional this morning. It was about 11:30 before I finally crawled into bed last night so today has begun with a late start. I am so happy to be able to share God's healing power, His love and His word with those who need salvation, healing and deliverance! May I always stay in close contact with Him, for apart from Jesus I can do nothing!

God bless you, my friends!

John 14:12-14 (NIV) I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

May you live up to your potential in Christ Jesus!

Father, I thank You for the living water that flows from You to me as I spend time in Your presence. Father, we can't give away something that we don't have as our own. I pray that as we seek to do Your will we will not forget that the power to accomplish all that we do for You comes from the time that we spend with You. I ask You to remind us that apart from You, Lord Jesus, we can do nothing, but as we come to You and feed on Your manna, Your living words that we then can receive the refreshing and refueling that we need to continue to give out to those that are needy around us. Thank you for filling us to overflowing with Your words, Your power and Your presence to overcome all the attacks of the enemy. Through Your name, Lord Jesus, we have the authority to drive out demons, to speak with new tongues, to trample over demonic oppression and to heal the sick! Through Your name, the blind see, the deaf hear and the lame walk again! Through Your name sin is forgiven and new life is received! At the name of Jesus all demonic power must bow it's knee and You are exalted so all can come to salvation! Thank You for Your name and the power and authority that You have given us in using it to accomplish the works that You did here on earth! Thank You, Father, for the victory that is in the name of Jesus! Amen.

It was a wonderful day that you spent with your husband. Living alone with my cats, other than my Avon deliveries, I don't get away at all. You are an awesome friend and sharing God's messages is a blessing for us all.
