My last blog entry I made a big show of how i'm not a slacker. That may not be exactly the case. I have not gained back any weight, but I also have not lost any in about 5 months. I could put up all kinds of excuses about work and moving and all that, but I'm not going to. The basic reason is I ate more than I should have of foods I shouldn't have had in the first place, and up until the first of the year, hadn't been to the gym in months. The gym aspect is back on track. Other than one sick day where I didn't even go to work, my aunt and I have gone Tuesdays, Thursdays and even a weekend day once and a while without fail. She's lost 15lbs. My scale hasn't moved. I still wasn't eating right. It has been far to easy to throw in a frozen pizza or make mac and cheese instead of cooking something better. It has been cheaper to buy pastas and frozen junk from Sam's club than to buy fresh.

The good news is I'm getting back on track again. Last weekend I pre-cooked and separated meats into single portions. I bought fish and apples and non-chocolate covered granola bars for work. This weekend I'm going to precook a bunch of chicken and boil some eggs to bring to work. I bought things for sandwiches for work instead of eating out. I'm making better choices again. It's still going to be work, but I'm just too sick of looking at the numbers on the scale not moving anymore....
