Our second prechallenge assignment is to find and list why we are on this journey. So many times in our busy lives we get started on this journey and then something comes up, and then we can't really remember WHY we need to stick with them. Here goes:

What exactly do you want to change? I want to be a healthier me. I started with SP because my cholesterol was getting high and I knew loosing weight would help. Along the way, I have learned how and what to eat and the importance of exercise.
How do you want to look? I want to look good. I want my clothes to fit comfortably and I want to know that I am looking my best.
How do you want to feel? I want to feel healthy and rested.
What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body? I want to do anything I set my mind to do,
What is your biggest challenge? My biggest challenge is consistently eating healthy. My hubby is not a good influence on my eating habits and that makes it hard. He often cooks rich foods with yummy sauces and likes to go out and eat. When he is around, I tend to overindulge. I need to say, NO, and stick to my guns.

    My wife is definitely a positive influence on my. She's almost a vegetarian and cooks some pretty healthy stuff.

    I love that prechallenge exercise. It's always so good to review and what you want to achieve certainly isn't static! My biggest challenge is eatinng out of boredom.

    My husband loves to go out to eat too. So glad I have limited those times to once a week.

    Great post. I have the same problem with Randy sometimes. That's why I'm trying to influence him to want to get active and eat haelthy sot hat we both can be on the same page...I'll let you know when that happens... lol :0)

    I too find my hubby is not a positive influence! While he is concerned with his weight and health, he just has a lot more wiggle room than I do. He semiregularly indulges in candy, ice cream, pie, and pringles, which are foods I can generally resist. HOWEVER, there are some things that are a huge challenge for me and I'm not good about resisting. Like eating out! Fried foods! Wine! emoticon I need to work on exercising my resistance.
