Tuesday's Agenda

Plans, plans and more plans! Ufff, sometimes it gets tiring... but ultimately, I've realized when I don't plan my days, things go realllllly off track for me. So I'm thinking, why not put it all out there, everything I'd like to do today, right from the get-go? I'm not going to hold myself to everything on the list, but it would be great to get done, say, 75% of what's on it!

In the AM----------------------
**Workout @ Gym:
Cardio - 60 minutes w/ Intervals (today, I'm thinking StairMaster and Elliptical)
Abs - try some new moves using the Body Ball

**Homework for Online Class: (due tonight)
Read research article, complete assignment #1
Read Abstract, complete assignment #2

**Prep food for dinner later:
Going to try out a new recipe I saw for turkey & quinoa chili
Also, something with chicken breast for the man (he's not a big chili fan)

**Research about the LiveFit 12-week Plan by Jamie Eason:
This is something I'm hoping to start next week, once I've got it all organized. I really want to start lifting heavier weights to build more muscle mass, which I know will also help me with one of my biggest long-term goals, to drop body fat! I've heard great things about her plan (also, it's free!), and it seems like just the tool I need right now to guide me through the domain of the sometimes-intimidating weight racks at the gym. I feel like if I can go in there with a purpose and a routine, I won't feel lost!

In the afternoon-------------
**Go to Costco & hang out with the big Sis:
Maybe take a walk/hike somewhere!

**Workout @ home:
15 min Insanity "Cardio Abs"
Spinning bike for 20 min

In the evening-----------------
**Cook dinner

**Organize binder for Spanish class

**Research CLEP exams

    Oh yes, I know exactly what exercise you're talking about! Love it! I just found out about one where you do a plank ON the ball (prop yourself up with elbows on ball, hands clasped, toes still on the ground, back straight... hold that for a minute and then tell me how you feel!) and then if you're really jazzed about abs that day, right from there you can do another minute of alternating bringing your knees forward to touch the ball (right side and left side counts as one rep!)... man that's a good one!

I didn't end up getting everything done, but I whacked a pretty big chunk off my to-do list! The chili was SO yummy! Too good, actually, since I had to go and be a little piggy and go back for seconds... emoticon

    Love it. How'd you do?

Can I say that our gym schedule were almost EXACTLY the same today! I did 1 hour elliptical intervals, and I LOVE the body ball for abs. I do an exercise where I kneel and roll the ball out with my elbows, then roll it back in. Ouch. Then I put my feet on the ball and roll it to me, then back out. Ouch again. Hope that made sense! emoticon

    I am the same way. Need to write stuff down to get a game plan for the must dos before the day slips away from me! I actually had to stop mid yoga this am to make a few notes lol! Good luck with everything today! Hope the new recipe is a hit ; )!
