went to my first Zumba class last night! It was fun, I love to dance anyway...thankfully there were no mirrors to see how foolish I looked, lol! But it was fun the hour flew by! My next class is Thursday and I am taking my DD with me. The only problem I saw with the night class, i was hyped up, high heart rate until almost 4 am! My day starts at 5:45!
I guess that means I was still burning calories the f hours of intermittent sleep I got.... Lol.
My resting HR is between 76 and 80
Most of last night and the weeeee hours of the morning it was consistently 120!
Anyone have n e idea if that is a good thing?
I splurged, knowing thwt with basketball over I would be able to get out for a class, I bought a sport bra. A $40 sports bra ( to me that is a HUGE price tag!! I mean the baby could have gotten a whole summer wardrobe for that) it was/still is labelled "high impact/high intensity support! I am not that large up top (38D), but I found myself having to adjust and put the girls back on more than one occasion! My lord that was embarrassing!!
I also went AFTER I ate dinner.... Ugh. The spins the spins! Hahaha, let me share that Brussel sprouts with a kale heavy salad DO NOT taste any better the 2nd time!! I kept everything down, but it was a struggle! Lesson learned!!
My feet hurt during it too, my sneaks are kinda new (almost two years old, lol), running shoes. Maybe investing in some other kind of sneaker will be a ten pound loss reward.
Cross training in double circuits, is daunting, but worth it. The .Zumba is great. Bring on Spring with hands in the air and hips shaking!! Lol
