I can't answer that, I never get enough of it. LOL! But when I do, I've been crocheting lately. Right now I'm working on our Crochet team's afghan. I'm working on the second half of it right now and trying to use up some of the yarn I have here for it. So off to my "goodie" bag I trot each time I want to change colors. So far I'm liking it. The other day I got to a part that takes a lot of yarn in the row. Okay...got it started and about half way through, I'm not going to have enough of this color to finish the row. *sigh* Back to my stash. I did find enough of another color I can use, but now I have to tear it all out and start over. That's okay, it's something to do in my "spare time". Hehe!
I also found a pattern for Cookie Monster. LOL! Wwwwelllll, I've mentioned before how my dad is such a cookie monster..guess what he's going to be getting one of these days? Hehe! I know that'll tickle him. :) Of course I'll HAVE to make time to get that one finished. It's made from eyelash yarn which will be hard to work with on this project, but if it can be done, I think I can do it. :)
The other project in my unfinished project stuff is another afghan I started a good while back for the spare bedroom, aka my DH's clock room. Hehe! It's an Amish basket crochet quilt. I love the design, and so glad I copied it when I did and started working on it because the sight it was on closed down. That's sad because they had several really beautiful ones there and I wish I had know ahead of time cause I would have printed more of them off. *sigh*
Those are my crochet projects I need to get done or do, then there is the rest.
I have a beautiful cross stitch of my sweet Benny Joe that needs to be finished. After he left us and went to Doggy Heaven my heart broke every time I looked at it, so it's in my unfinished pile. Then there's a cross stitch of the NY sky line with the twin towers. It's beautiful but I haven't even started it yet. Unlike the NY sky line with the towers jig saw puzzle I started many moons ago, which is almost finished but...yep, there's the but...I'm at a big section of a beautiful blue sky and I just can't seem to get them to come together, it's a big hunk of the puzzle. DH bugs me about it now and then because he wants to make a picture out of it.
I'm sure if I look hard enough there are many other projects I really want to do that I don't have time for right now. So many patterns, so much yarn, so little time. :( Not to mention the burnt out light bulbs I'm saving to make ornaments out of for next year..oh I guess I just mentioned them didn't I? LOL
So why don't I have any of that "spare time" when I don't punch a time clock for a living? Well, I do the shopping for us and dad, take care of him and his needs, run errands, go to doctor's appointments for DH and I, lil' sis takes dad to most of his, then there's cleaning two houses, doing the laundry, planning and cooking meals, getting my fitness time in, and the ***NAP*** that I've come to look forward to when I can get it.
