The Happiness Challenge Day 4

***** 3 gratitudes **********
I am thankful for Dadís Aleve since I was not able to find my ibuprofen in the midst of a severe headache.

I am thankful for my IPhone and music. We were talking about mixed tapes last night at work and started thinking that it was even a while since we actually listened to a CD. After growing up with cassette tapes where you had to look at a meter to rewind and fast-forward to a certain song and try several times to get it at the beginning of the song, I love that I can just use my playlist and donít have to skip songs. Itís all right there for me to listen to whether it is a particular order or not.

I am thankful for Islander Day and that I donít have an 8:30 class this morning after working last night.

***** Journaling **********
I had a great talk with Lavinia today. She was not interrupted or distracted so we had a great conversation. I am really amazed at the girl she is growing up to be and too soon will become a young woman. We are both really looking forward to March break.

***** Exercise **********
I did the Cardio Kickboxing workout on Coach Nicoleís Cardioblast CD. I canít believe how out of shape I am from last summer. I was able to do the whole CD last summer and was really wiped out with this one and even needed my puffer.

***** Meditation **********
I colored again. Tomorrow should not be a late night so I hope to do some yoga.

***** RAK **********
I paid for the personís coffee behind me in the drive thru at Tim Hortonís.

**************************
You know youíre 70ís old school when you had a lot of fun playing lawn darts, until they were finally banned in 1988 after too many injuries and deaths. - I would play lawn darts with my cousins Wendy and Karen since they had a set. It was really fun and I remember hearing stories of people getting hurt with them and we were always warned to be careful. We couldn't imagine getting hurt with them because they were not sharp and we threw it at a hula hoop on the ground and not at each other. We thought it was one of those things like ďif you keep your eyes crossed they will stay that wayĒ type things parents say to their kids until they were actually banned.

Nice, reflective blog! I've been racking my brain to figure out what RAK stood for in your previous blogs--now I get it! Random acts of kindness! LOL Sorry you had a headache--glad you found some meds. Keep up the good work! emoticon
