I hope all those who had the day off...really enjoyed it and made the best of their time. Yesterday, I spent the day with my family. It was my nieces 14th birthday. I wore my pedometer and burned a lot of calories playing with all the kids. My energy level is up and I'm so happy about that!
Today, my bf's kids were spending the day. I wore my pedometer and so far I complete over 8,500 steps!
I planned to go to the gym with my brother, but seemed to have all worked out in the end. I enjoyed the kids, I burned lots of calories, and I have almost 500 squats to catch up on...so more calories will be burned. No gym required today! :)
It has taken me over a month to figure things out again. I have made a lot of changes, but seen little results at first. Now my focus is on 100% accountability for the good and bad throughout each day. What this means is: Measuring, weighing, logging, monitoring accurate numbers for all activities. It is nice that they have a general number we can use here on Sparkspeople. It's even better to log your personal number of calories burned. I have come to realize that I'm more active then I report on a daily basis!
I have not been eating the amount of calories for my activities during the day!
I will be wearing my pedometer EVERY day from this day forth. I will be wearing my heart rate monitor during all exercises at the gym and at home challenges. This way the number's will be accurate and I will really know how many calories a really do burn a week.
The amount of calories a day had to be adjusted today. I will eat what is recommended on a daily basis. By doing all the above I expect to see big changes. There are only weeks left before my brother's wedding (April 6). I'm the best woman and I was told to wear black. I would love to treat myself to a awesome dress a few sizes smaller than I am. This is my short term goal.
