Brittney, my pt, did an assessment. Basically, my strength is well above average, but my body fat percent is well below average. Brittney has me doing heavy weights, 20 reps, 3 sets. She also wants me to only weigh myself once a week. I'm going to try. I'm a bit obsessed with the scale, so taking a break could be good.
I'm not drinking enough water over the weekend. It's harder to do at home, for some reason. Sometime putting a slice of lemon in my water makes it more palatable. Also Drinking herbal tea can help me get more water. I like Celestial Seasonings teas. Cinnamon Apple Spice has a natural sweetness that doesn't need added sweetener.
I'm getting my blood work done & an echo cardiogram on Friday. I've got a heart murmur. It's a congenital defect; I was born with it. I've had it 52 years and never had a scary effect. I've gone through childbirth 3 times. I can do an hour of cardio. And I'm just fine. I don't feel faint. But some murmurs are not so innocent, so my dr wants yearly tests done.
