Emotional or Stress Eating?

The past few weeks have been very stressful, and up until now, I thought that stress didn't effect my eating. WRONG!! I have been really struggling to do the basic things I need to do to stay on track. I haven't had the motivation, or desire to track, plan, or exercise. I'm feeling a bit discouraged and am praying for strength.

    Stress always seems to go in waves - I realized that while we can't eliminate stress, we can mitigate the damage by creating a plan of action.....I find myself SO munchy when I first get home from work before dinner is made - so I have to preplan for this - and make a snack so when I open the fridge - it's there! Drinking tons of water helps too! I started carrying my food with me every day (even on weekends) in order to combat last minute reaction eating - it's hard, but it DOES make a difference! You can do it!

    Those days are tough, but that's the right thing to do...acknowledge what is going on and what needs attention. You'll get that motivation and desire back!
