AHHH I did not take an airline seatbelt photo!! Darn!!!
I was distracted by the woman next to me who was drinking an ENTIRE BOX OF WINE and smoking electronic cigarettes and gossiping loudly the entire flight, but that's an entirely different story. (I nominate her for the Walking Cliche of the Year award. AMAZING.)
I can cinch ~5 inches of belt now, eeeee! And my hips fit between the armrests without popping one up - normally I have to push down on the non-stationary armrest (the one between me and the person next to me, or both if I'm in the middle seat) because my fat is pushing it up a little. Not anymore! Awesome.
Also awesome? I went shopping today. I had to drive ~40 miles to pick up my bridesmaid dress, so I figured I'd shop while I was down there.
I fit in Old Navy sizes now!!! Most of their stuff that I've seen only goes up to size 20, or XXL in "letter" sizes. Size 20 @ON does not equal size 20 @LB, so even though I'm a loose 18 at LB now I JUST now fit in Old Navy 20. All my XXL t shirts are swimming on me so I stopped in mainly to get some XLs. But, hey, PANTS!
Clearance rack khakis for $9? YES PLEASE! Versus LB pants @ $50-$70, and they never have khakis. They're like the land that khakis forgot, which would be fine except that's my work uniform officially. So I finally have some OFFICIAL work pants (we are allowed to wear black pants but technically supposed to have k's).
I got 2 pairs of khakis, 1 pair of black pants, 3 t-shirts, a tank top, and 2 pairs of flip flops (my one pair fell apart in Florida last week) for ~ the cost of 1 pair of LB pants.
YES FOR BEING SMALLER AND CHEAPER CLOTHES!
Can't wait to be EVEN smaller. I unfolded a pair of 12s while I was there. Just to look at them and go "OH I'M GONNA FIT IN THESE JUST WAIT."
It was very motivating for getting back to eating well.
I tracked all through vacation! Was over most days, but usually it was because I 1) had alcohol, 2) had bread with the meal, or 3) had some other drink with calories - juice one day and soda one day. I don't think I cracked 3000 calories the whole week. WOOT.
But still, it just felt like ENDLESS eating. AHHH. Getting back on track after getting home is hard, just because there's nothing in the house! I gave myself a break yesterday - slept in, didn't do much in terms of cooking or prepping stuff, and didn't track.
(Edited to add: As of yesterday morning, not back to better eating & higher water intake yet, I was only up 1 pound. FINE WITH ME!! I will take that!)
Today I was supposed to go grocery shopping. YEAH. Guess what I did not do.
I was tired and took a nap, which I'm glad for, but I'll be regretting it all week when I feel like I'd shank somebody for some fresh fruit or something, so I'm gonna go make a grocery list so I'm ready to hit the aisles right after work.
I'll check up on everybody's blogs and such tomorrow afternoon - I finally got my POS home computer semi-running so I've spent this evening updating stuff, cleaning out my email, etc., dealing with various odds and ends, and I'm alllll computered out.

OMG I can't WAIT to go swimming tomorrow morning. I did swim in Florida, but pools there are made for lounging not laps, and swimming with manatees is not really much of a workout. Heh.
