5lb loss and upset tummy

So I'm super happy I lost 5lbs but on another note my tummy has been bugging me all day.

Any suggestions of what I can do to help it soothe down. I feel sluggish and it kinda hurts to do anything. No appetite at all. feelings icky....

    how exciting on the loss! :))) hope you're feeling better by now! peppermint tea seems to soothe me when I'm nauseous...but maybe thats different? Whatever the case, I hope you feel better real soon! :)

    Congratulations on the 5-pound weight loss! I hope your stomach feels better soon! If not, I highly recommend ginger tea as well! I take that when my stomach is upset.

    I swear by my ginger tea; I have several varieties. My Mom always gave us flat ginger ale (warm) when we were younger to settle the tummy, and saltines. I like dry toast these days.

    some light yoga twists can aid digestion, and realax the muscles. i find a warm sprite also can help when not feeling the best.

    My standard go-to was crackers or a piece of toast with peanut butter along with lots of fluids and rest. Since I can't have wheat anymore, I've been having to learn what works.

    Gatorade is good as it gives you back the electrolytes that you are losing

    I agree with LALMEIDA. Just relax and drink fluids. I'd also recommend eating plain foods like crackers and toast. emoticon

  I usually have chicken soup and some saltines for my tummy. It also depends on the source of the belly problem with me. I have crohns disease so mine can either be related to that or a bug. You can also try applesauce, or clear liquid foods like jello or popcycles. I would call my doc if it goes on for more than 24 hours. Make sure you stay hydrated. Ginger ale, gatorade, water (if you can tolerate). emoticon
