New Day...New life.....New Things

I have been very busy with family issues....

Thanks to everyone for the support and prayers for my Dad....He is doing better and getting some much needed physical therapy ....I listened today as the therapist explained that as we age we need more exercise to maintain a healthy body and mind....My Dad was always very active but the last few years not so much...She told him at 88 he needs to exercise everyday....or he will get weaker and weaker...I learned that lifting weights is so important....I will be doing more in that category ....

So it got me to thinking......what am I doing today to improve my tomorrow's....this is almost like the quote from Ralph Martson.....

So starting today I'm going to make a list of things I should be doing for my body and my mind to make sure I age healthy.....
Today I rode the bike for 60 minutes, walked around the therapy center several times....park as far away as possible...
I ate a healthy breakfast, and lunch.....I have a healthy salad planned for dinner...
I need to find word games and other activities to keep my brain alert too...

I think we should all make a plan to be as good as possible...it was eye opening today to see so many people in there late 40's and early 50's who had stokes and needed therapy....wow I feel so lucky..but I can and will be doing more...
Helping my Dad will help me too....
