Well, I am sitting inside looking out the window at he blizzard, well kind of a blizzard, but only 1 cm of snwo expected, so certainly not as bad as it could be...probably not good on the highway..km .. -11C with the windchill

Lousy sleep last nite and I had to be up by 8:30 to shower before all the hot water was gone and the plumber came. Nice man, raised 2 grown girls on his own... Knew my bro way back in the day. Conclusion, probably those kids had overflowed or splashed enough water on the floor to drown out the lady underneath and make their bathroom floor under the tile all spongy. So an hour and a half of running around with them. Then I got them to run me about 2 km to the cash machine to pay them...,

I have been reading, finished book I started yesterday...."Kindred Spirits" by Sarah Strothmeyer.... absolutely incredible book. A group of 4 friends in their 40's who had met when kids were in school and now one of them died of cancer and she wrote that she wanted her friends to clean out her drawers and learn her big secret etc.... it was an illigitimate baby she gave up as a teen, and dealt with all aspects of our lives, awesome book, highly recommend it! Also, just happened to have issues with a friend who had been told off, and a daughter and mother not talking at all (any of this sound familiar?) Really touched my heart.... I think I will be ordering an other of her books from the library, her first two have been super good!!!

WEll, next book on the agenda is Harlan Coben, I've read a few of him on audiobook already... Too cold and windy and slippery to walk down to the library today...

Good day to make a homemade soup, now if only dh would do the dishes....I might consider that...
