My first month

It feels like I've been sparking for quite some time, but in reality it's only been a month. Today when I did my weekly weigh in I was disappointed because I only lost one pound. Then I realized in just one month I have lost 10 pounds! High five to me! I also did my monthly measurement check ( first one) and found I lost a total of 4 inches, 2 from my waist.
I have really had to push myself to exercise, even though I do like my Leslie Sansone videos. After long work shifts, sometimes the last thing I want to do is walk away the pounds. It is getting easier to pass up certain foods (like tater chips) that I know aren't very good for my new healthier lifestyle. Seeing that number go down on the scale and tape measure has really given me hope and inspires me to continue.
Wow, I really think I may be able to do this....finally.
