Last you all heard from me was on Thursday of last week and we were hopeful my DH would be going home on Friday. Turned out Friday his stomach and bowel were not working properly and he got very sick so they had to put an NG tube down his nose and into his stomach. They tried on Saturday to pull it and try him on liquids but by the evening his stomach was back to doing the same thing so they had to reinsert it. So since Friday pretty much he has been on ice chips and we are still in the hospital. Hoping for change this morning but still not looking like it is any better. So please keep him in your prayers as I know it is frustrating for him and his recovery. I work here at the hospital so I have been working while I can but I am tired of pretty much living here when I am not working it just takes a toll on you. Been trying to keep up with my tracking and eating better but sometimes just hard to do when things are all off track. Hopefully in a few days we can get home and back into some kind of routine.
