I slept in, but I feel more tired. I am trying to motivate myself to go into full speed. Alas, I may be cruising all day. But, my strategy is to do the hard thing first, have a longer meditation session, and work out in two hours. (I am not going to the gym after all because my son is sick, but I have my bike at home.)
Today, I am also playing with my Polar. I want to compare what the machine says I burn with what the Polar says I burn. (I am aiming to eat at least 1400 calories today and want to burn off one meal.) The incorrect calorie burn count could be the reason why my loss is so slow or at least giving me false reports. But, I am losing, and I know it's not a race. In fact, I am not displeased with the rate I've been going at, even if it's a few pounds every three weeks because I could be gaining muscle mass. Well, who am I kidding; my weight fluctuates up about five pounds, depending on the time of day or the month. I just want the numbers to be more accurate.
My trainer says that if my knees weren't so bad, I could do more cardio, but I am O.K. with what I do right now. I have actually considered doing water aerobics this summer. OK, time to go do the hard thing.
