I honestly thought...

Monday, February 18, 2013

My clothes would be starting to fit differently by now. I have lost 7 pounds so far and really did think they would feel a bit looser. So far, the feel just as tight as ever :(. I am not discouraged or in any way ready to give up, just a little surprised. I have done body measurements and the have gotten smaller as well. I think the truth here is that I was wearing my clothes even tighter than I thought I was. I am feeling grateful for the motivation and desire to change!

Hang in there and keep that positive attitude. This stuff takes time. But, when you stick to it, everything falls into place.

Sounds like you have the right attitude. My issue is usually the scale not showing the results I want.

Funny we blogged about the same topic (somewhat). I'm not beating myself up -- I just know that it now takes more than exercise to help my clothes fit better. When I was younger I could eat anything, and exercise to lose that tightness in the waistband. I'm finding now that that isn't the case!

It is a journey for a lifetime and everything we learn along the way makes it a better journey! Good luck with yours!!
