There are times that I am very thankful that I stock up on things at a great price, even if I may never use them. I stocked up on some cold medications awhile back and we have been going through them like crazy since all 4 of us have some type of cold.
Those things are so expensive normally, but I got them either free or close to it. Not only that, it allowed me to not have to run out to the store for something when I'm not feeling well.
The signs of what we have show it could possibly be the flu, but only my daughter has had a fever and no one else. 3 of us got the flu shot months ago (not my son though as he didn't want it) but only my daughter has had a temperature.
It's a weird thing full of some symptoms of the flu, but also symptoms of a cold, so who knows what it is? Thankfully no nausea or throwing up or chills, so probably not the flu.
We've had a lot of homeschool events lately that I have been in charge of setting up and running so figure that with all the illnesses that members of our group have had, some of us probably got it that way. Then again, my husband could have got it from the workplace and brought it home.
I've been lucky in that I haven't been sick all winter until now and the same with the kids and hubby.
It hasn't affected my appetite at all so I can keep my strength up that way. Thank goodness for a mega supply of soup on hand as well that I bought with coupons (doubled) a while back. It sure does feel good to not have to worry about that type of stuff as well as spend a fortune on it.
