Week 16, day 1

Monday, February 18, 2013

It was a frosty start this morning but the sun is shining again, which is great. It is going to get colder later in the week, so says the forecast, but so long as it doesn't rain I'm happy with that.

I got the washing done early and on the line and got a lot of steps in doing it by leaving the washing basket and pegs on the table and making myself walk back for each item and each pair of pegs!

I'm hoping to get out into the garden for a spot of digging if the ground is a bit less saturated. Will take a photo of before and after. The potatos should be going in in a couple of weeks and before the end March anyway. Let's hope this year is bed and it doesn't rain for 9 months again. This time last year most of the UK was in drought, now the ground water level is almost at the ground and at times it was bubbling out and flooding many areas.

I measured this morning and found that my hip/waist ratio is now down to healthy levels and I've lost 1.5 inches off my bust, so feeling pleased with myself.

Congrats on the lost inches! That's awesome! Time for new clothes?
I laughed when I read how you got more steps in by going back and forth for laundry pegs! That fitbit really has us moving doesn't it? I do the same thing, always figuring out a way to take more steps. My fitbit even sends messages to me to get moving when I'm sitting around too much! emoticon
We're not doing much better weather wise on this side of the north sea. Spring will come soon and think how much thinner, healthier and beautiful we will be!!
Have a great day!

What a good system. Are pegs 'clothes pins'????That's what we use to hang clothes on a line. Keep Sparkin'!!
