On this 7th week of 2013 I ate chia seeds. I'd been reading about some of the health benefits and decided I'd give them a try. So far I've sprinkled them in my omelet, added them to a tuna sandwich and just tonight tried them partially dissolved in a glass of lemon water. I've not noticed much of a flavor other than a mild, slightly sweet nutty taste. Due to the protein, omega3's and fiber benefits, I think it's worth a try to continue experimenting with these tiny seeds. All the articles I've read guarantee that I won't turn into a giant Chia Pet!
