Several Something New this Week

Sunday, February 17, 2013

This week I am trying several new things.
1. This week I am trying to cook a lot recipe I have found on here. My goal is to keep the good ones to use. I love the fact that they have a ton of simple ones with few ingredients. The great thing about it is that I make it and my husband is eating it and eating healthy as well. Makes things some much easier when he does it with me. I am also ordering the Spark cookbook from Amazon.
2.. I LOVE to read and I read a lot with my nook. So I thought of something to see how this does for me. I buy one new book for my nook ( I usually download from the public library) and I read that book ONLY on the treadmill. I am hoping that I can turn my love of reading into a love for working out. I know that I will want to get on my treadmill and walk just so I can find out what happens in my book.
3. My last and final thing I am doing is switching my walking to mornings. They started to work on interstate in my area so I have to go an alternate route to work which is longer so now i have to get up earlier just so i can leave my house earlier. I am hoping that by going to bed earlier I can make it to get up earlier. This will be my hardest thing to do this week. Wish me luck!!!

I used to do the same things with audio books. I could only listen to them if I was walking. Good plan!
