Sassy Water...

I think it's worth a try...even if it does nothing but perk up the water taste for me!

Sassy Water

2 liters water (about 8 cups)
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
12 small spearmint leaves.

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and let flavors blend overnight.

Drink the entire pitcher by the end of each day. I rinsed out a milk jug and will be using that to store my water

    I think this is what my daughter has even drinking everyday and she raves about it. Guess I need to give it a try!

    @DOLLFACEDX ~ from what I read it was originally part of Prevention's Flat Belly Diet, and it was supposed to help with bloat and gastrointestinal calming.

I was just looking for something to make my water not so boring....this Sassy Water is actually really good. I left out the ginger for the first trial run, and purchased dried spearmint leaved you would usually use for tea, 1 gallon of water, 1 lemon, and 1/2 cucumber. I wrapped 2 tbl of the spearmint in cheesecloth and boiled it in 1 qt water for about 5-7min. Let that cool, and throw it all togwther and add enough water to make 1 gallon. I did drink some yesterday, but its much better today. My husband said he would drink it, and he doesn't like drinking water!

    Everything sounds good - except the cucumber. I hate cucumber! Might try it without, tho.
