So an acquaintance at work has challenged me. She works in a different area than I do, but we see each other often. She has completed Insanity once already. I told her I had tried the first two days and struggled with some of it. Partly, I'm finding my ankle isn't as strong as I thought it was. I feel it the next day. Maybe continuing to work hard will improve that? Or, make it worse? Well, there's only one way to find out I guess. Plug on. Anyway, she is doing Insanity again and suggested we sort of do it together. She is probably a day or so ahead of me, younger and more fit, but I can email her with my successes. I restarted it (as I had gone too many days without doing it). I took my measurements (they might not be that accurate. It's HARD to measure your own biceps!!) But, it will give me an idea. Of course, I always start this crap just prior to leaving on holidays. Not sure how I'm going to do this when I'm away for two weeks. Free WiFi in the lobby of the hotel only. I've been doing the exercises on You Tube (no, I won't fork out $$ for a program I probably won't complete............that's usual for me....but now that I've said that, I need to prove myself wrong) Not sure if I can save those workouts on You Tube or not. Regardless, I have plans to walk that beach for an hour a day. I'm sure if I could do the insanity workout at the resort, the people beneath me would not be impressed. LOL......picture it. Oh well..........moving on. 2 weeks until trip day. I won't be "hot" as planned, nor "toned" as planned, but the mere thought of being away from winter, work, and worries (my three w's) is good enough for me. Who knows, in two weeks, I may look better than what I do today if I stick to this Insanity thingy. It's another cloudy dreary day here. Warmer, but heading back into the deep freeze tomorrow along with MORE snow. Sigh. Counting down the days until spring.
